چکیده
Nomenclature for the chemerin receptors is presented as recommended by NC-IUPHAR [15, 44]). The chemoattractant protein and adipokine, chemerin, has been shown to be endogenous ligand both family receptors. Chemerin1 was founding member, when GPR1 de-orphanised it re-named Chermerin2 [44]. also activated lipid-derived, anti-inflammatory resolvin E1 (RvE1), which formed via sequential metabolism of EPA aspirin-modified cyclooxygenase lipoxygenase [2, 3]. In addition, two GPCRs D1 (RvD1) have identified: FPR2/ALX, lipoxin A4 receptor, GPR32, an orphan receptor [46].

Signaling Properties of Chemerin Receptors CMKLR1, GPR1 and CCRL2
Chemerin is a small chemotactic protein originally identified as the natural ligand of CMKLR1. More recently, two other receptors, GPR1 and CCRL2, have been reported to bind chemerin but their functional relevance remains poorly understood. In this study, we compared the binding and signaling properties of the three human chemerin receptors and showed differences in mode of chemerin binding and...
متن کاملChemerin in Liver Diseases
Chemerin is a chemoattractant protein and moreover has a role in adipogenesis, angiogenesis and glucose homeostasis. Chemerin is primarily synthesized and secreted by adipocytes and hepatocytes. Chemerin receptors chemokine-like receptor 1 (CMKLR1), G-protein coupled receptor 1 (GPR1) and CC-motif chemokine receptorlike 2 (CCRL2) are all expressed in the liver suggesting that chemerin may be re...
متن کاملChemerin Peptides Promote Phagocytosis in
Chemerin peptides represent a recently identified component of the endogenous anti-inflammatory network that act via the G protein-coupled receptor ChemR23. The role of the chemerin peptide/ChemR23 pathway in phagocytosis, the clearance of apoptotic cells (efferocytosis), and the resolution of inflammation is unknown. In this article, we report that low picomolar concentrations of the chemerin ...

متن کاملChemerin regulates β-cell function in mice
Although various function of chemerin have been suggested, its physiological role remains to be elucidated. Here we show that chemerin-deficient mice are glucose intolerant irrespective of exhibiting reduced macrophage accumulation in adipose tissue. The glucose intolerance was mainly due to increased hepatic glucose production and impaired insulin secretion. Chemerin and its receptor ChemR23 w...
